Loch View Cottage in anglers' Ardnamurchan

Many guests go fishing and the waters of Loch Sunart and the many fresh water Lochs have been productive in the past. There are generally mackerel in the summer months and the pollock fishing from the rocks can be good but unreliable.  If you have stayed with us and landed a tiddler or a whopper we would be delighted to include your pictures.  Tight Lines!

A worrying trend recently is that girls have started to catch more fish than boys. This is a reversal of the natural order and may be due to global warming but many thanks to Claudia and Casey for sending in the proof!

Thanks to all for your photos. Of course not all of the catches are huge, but Allan B from Edinburgh was still pleased with his 'specimen' pollock which he returned to fight another day!
