Loch View Cottage in photogenic Ardnamurchan

We welcome any photographs from our guests to show what they have been up to while staying in Loch View.

Robert took this beautiful photograph of a male otter outside the cottage in the shallows, it was actually taken a year before we came to Loch View but they are such hard creatures to capture on film that we dont have any other pictures. Fiona is offering a reward to any guest that captures a decent otter or pine marten photo at Loch View..

These people came to Loch View to launch their sea-kayaks They paddled all the way round Carna them came back to give Fiona a shot, Hopefully we will meet again and I will remember your names the next time!
Alastair and Ellie took their dogs for a sail,  met a young seal, enjoyed some local sea-food and still had time to take some  great photos of the cottage. Many thanks,  most of the good indoor shots of the cottage were kindly donated by Alastair.

Mark and family visited the seals in Loch Sunart.

Al climbed a hill on a misty December day and captured virtually the whole of Loch Sunart

This stag had kept Lorn awake for part of the night with his love-sick groaning, but he posed for a great picture from the kitchen window in the morning.

Jim rescued this bedraggled finch chick when it fell off the bird-table!

Angela was held up while this family enjoyed a roadside snack.

Al and Ellie loved re-visiting the seals that they met last year on Loch Sunart.

Fruin and Bramble had a great game of 'pretending to be shot' on the lawn

We love this sunset from the jetty that Lorn captured. Very 'Lord of the Rings'!

Paul took his kayak on holiday and observed otters eating fish on the rocks.
